DJ For An Hour
Have you ever wanted to be on the radio?
For a paid donation of just $250.00 you, or someone you know, can be a DJ for an hour on RDV-FM.
You can sit in with your selected RDV-FM DJ, play your favorite format-compliant music and read announcements.
We will record your time on the air as a keep-sake.
“DJ for an Hour” makes a great gift! Several of our current DJs got their start just this way:
"THE BEST $250 I EVER SPENT!"
Father Al
Music was always part of my young life.At one point, my dad worked for Decca Records and had quite the collection. My mom played piano and sang beautifully, often with my dad. I was blessed to be exposed to music much like RDV plays today.
While pastor of St. Martha Parish in Northeast Philly, I discovered the Bensalem signal on my car radio. Then, through the “miracle” of Alexa, I was able to have RDV play constantly in my office.
When the pledge drive came around,I decided to donate the $250 which allowed me to be “ DJ for an hour.”I chose to sit in with Michelle Kenny, and was hooked!Another donation afforded me another “guest DJ” gig, and I was able to help answer phones during the pledge drive for Michelle.Looking for something different to do during “retirement” I was trained by Connie Gayle, subbed for other DJs from time to time, and finally was tapped for Father Al’s Musical Time Capsule in January 2025!Very few times does a priest, retired or not, ever get to do something that’s “just for me” but I’ve been blessed to do so.(Even though it really is about you, our listeners, I enjoy it immensely.)
Support the pledge drive at the “DJ for an Hour” level, and maybe you’ll get the bug, too!
